PREDIKSI PERSEDIAN PRODUKSI SEMEN MENGGUNAKAN METODE FUZZY TSUKAMOTO DAN SIMPLE ADDITIVE WEIGHTING

Abstract


The increasingly competitive cement industry requires companies to manage inventory and distribution efficiently to meet market demand with minimal operational costs. PT. Puskud Jaya Bersama in Padang City still relies on conventional manual estimation methods, often resulting in stock and distribution inaccuracies. This study aims to develop an accurate cement inventory prediction system and determine optimal distribution priorities by integrating the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method with the Fuzzy Tsukamoto approach. The dataset consists of 2024 operational records, including incoming goods, outgoing goods, and monthly stock levels. SAW is applied to evaluate distribution alternatives based on weighted criteria, while Fuzzy Tsukamoto models uncertainty through fuzzification, inference, and defuzzification. Results show an average error rate of only 2.5%, with September achieving the highest preference score (0.881) and March the lowest (0.448). The proposed system effectively reduces the risk of overstocking or stockouts and improves distribution efficiency by up to 15% compared to manual methods
